The Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority is seeking four (4) peak season Material Handlers to work in the Distribution Centre (Warehouse). This is an entry level opportunity. There are no guaranteed hours for this position. The peak season period starts in May and ends in mid-September.
A Peak Season worker will be assigned shifts during the peak season period. This is a part-time opportunity and there is no minimum guarantee of hours.
Some shifts will be available during weekdays; however, most shifts will occur in the evenings and on weekends.
You must state your availability based on the peak season period as well as during weekdays/weekends. (If you are only available for evenings, please tell us what time you are able to begin work.)
Prior to employment, a potential candidate must successfully complete an independent physical demands assessment followed by online corporate training.
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager or designate, the Material Handler position is responsible for the assembling of liquor products servicing 700 RSP (Retail Store Permittee) across the province of Saskatchewan. This position involves the operating and maintaining of a Walkie Rider (Lowlift), using radio frequency equipment, loading orders onto semi-trailers/trucks, maintaining warehouse security, counting warehouse inventory and completing general housekeeping duties.
