On March 1, SLGA announced that it is expanding the ability to sell craft beer in growlers to off-sales, franchises and private retail stores.
In addition, two SLGA stores – one in Regina and one in Saskatoon – will implement growler filling stations as a pilot project in the coming months.
The change means consumers will have additional opportunities to purchase craft beer products in the province.
Businesses that decide to offer growler fills will be required to include Saskatchewan made beer -- at least one tap if there are four or fewer taps overall and two Saskatchewan taps if there are more than four taps for growler fills.
