Playing VLTs

Discover the range of VLT games available, learn about responsible gaming, and how to get in touch with the WCLC player information line.

The VLT network is carefully controlled and regulated.  Every new game undergoes rigorous testing before it’s available on the VLTs.  An independent lab called Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) conducts preliminary testing on all aspects of the game to ensure it plays correctly.  After GLI approves the game, Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) tests how it operates with the central system and conducts strenuous testing for metering.  Both GLI and WCLC certify the game meets both SLGA and international gaming industry standards before it’s available on the VLTs.  Saskatchewan standards require a payout percentage between 90 and 93 per cent.

The Player Services Account is a voluntary responsible gaming tool. For more information visit
