Liquor Store Permit Auctions (Unallocated permits)

The next round of auctions for unallocated (population based) permits begins Oct. 2 and closes Oct. 11. Auctions will be held for permits in: Carnduff, Dalmeny, Ile a la Crosse, Osler, Lloydminster (three permits) and Rosetown. Permits are also available in the Rural Municipalities of: Buckland No. 491 (two permits), Corman Park No. 344 (three permits), Edenwold No. 158, Maple Creek No. 111, Shellbrook No. 493. Information about the auction process is included in the backgrounder document (below).

These auctions are for permits in municipalities that qualify for an additional permit(s) under the population matrix prescribed in The Alcohol Control Regulations, 2016. Auctions are only held if someone has expressed interest in a permit in an eligible municipality.
